On the afternoon of August 30, a delegation from the Tokai Japan-China Relations Academy, led by its president Kawamura Noriyuki and director-general Obara Michio, visited ZIA. Vice President Lyu Qingmin met with the delegation.
Vice President Lyu welcomed the visitors and provided an overview of the university’s mission, goals, and unique strengths. Professor Hu Chenghuai, Honorary Dean of ZIA’s Department of Marxist Ideology, and Professor Bao Haibo, Deputy Director of ZIA’s Department of Economics, delivered presentations. The speakers discussed the principles and key aspects of China’s common prosperity policy, as well as its practical implementation in Zhejiang.
President Kawamura, speaking on behalf of the delegation, expressed gratitude for ZIA’s warm reception and the professors’ insightful presentations. He emphasized the significance of this visit, noting that China’s efforts in achieving common prosperity are commendable and offer valuable lessons. He also expressed hopes for strengthened collaboration between the academy and ZIA in the future.
