Recently, Zhang Hongyang from Department of Public Administration and Yu Guojun from Zhejiang Development Strategy Research Institute of ZIA successfully concluded a two-month academic exchange program at Queen’s University in Canada.

Mentored by renowned Chinese-Canadian scholar Professor Hok-Lin Leung, the two scholars conducted in-depth studies on topics such as policy evaluation and the cultural foundations of Western civilization. They gained a comprehensive understanding of the S-CAD framework and methods for public policy evaluation. During their stay, they also had discussions with Queen’s University faculty and students, gaining valuable insights into various aspects of Western societal development.
