From October 27 to November 3, ZIA Vice President Hu Yunxiang led a delegation to the Czech Republic and Serbia for academic and cultural exchanges.
During their time in the Czech Republic, the delegation visited several institutions, including the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, the Faculty of Social Sciences at Charles University, the Czech-Chinese Education Exchange Association, and the Poděbrady Municipal Government. Discussions centered on the development experiences of Zhejiang, building a skilled faculty, civil servant training, and local governance practices.
In Serbia, the ZIA delegation visited the Asian Studies Center at the University of Belgrade’s Faculty of Political Sciences, the University of Niš, and its Confucius Institute. Talks focused on strengthening academic collaboration and faculty exchanges.
Much of the dialogue and engagement centered around Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era in Zhejiang and advancing Chinese modernization through deeper reforms. The delegation also sought to draw on international experiences in education, university governance, cultural preservation, and integrated urban-rural development.
